About Croploo
Built on real data, not demos.
Croploo started from a simple frustration: every commodity trading tool we tried was either a spreadsheet, a Bloomberg-priced terminal, or a dashboard full of placeholder numbers. We wanted something in between — real basis, real futures, real USDA data, with an AI analyst that actually reads it for you.
Every number in Croploo comes from a real, live data source — USDA, Alpha Vantage, EIA, CFTC, NOAA and the others listed below. Nothing in the terminal is mocked, simulated, or placeholder data standing in for a feed we haven't built yet. If a data source doesn't exist for something yet, we leave that screen empty and say so, rather than fake it.
Why we built this
Corn, wheat and soybean traders — from independent farmers hedging a harvest to desks managing storage positions — have historically had two options: expensive institutional terminals, or a patchwork of free tools that don't talk to each other. Basis data lived in one spreadsheet, USDA reports in a PDF, futures charts in a browser tab, and market chatter in yet another app.
Croploo brings that into one terminal — corn, wheat and soybean basis pulled directly from USDA AMS AgTransport, WASDE and Crop Progress numbers straight from USDA NASS Quick Stats, and CullyAI, a built-in analyst that reads the same data you do and explains what changed and why, instead of another wall of numbers.
Real data, clearly labeled
Every value in the terminal shows its source and its last-updated time on hover. If a data source is weekly instead of daily — like USDA's free basis feed — we say so, instead of interpolating and pretending it's more current than it is. We'd rather show a smaller, honest number of features than fake the rest with placeholder data.
